I took my first quilting workshop in 1980, and I was hooked almost from the beginning. Over the years I have taken many workshops, and enjoyed learning new techniques. My interest is varied with respect to design, but I keep returning to art quilts. I love bright colours and textures, and the process of designing a quilt is always exciting.
I also enjoy making quilts for babies and children. Some of my friends contact me to order a quilt as soon as they hear that a family member is expecting a baby.
My quilts have won awards at Manitoba Prairie Quilters and Red River Exhibition, and have shown in the national show.
I am retired and living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I spend most of my time in my quilting studio.
